Brian Taschuk - President & CEO, Agriterra Equipment
Celebrating 13 Years in Business
In 2013, Brian founded Agriterra Equipment with the purchase of Selmac Sales, a three-store AGCO dealer based out of Stony Plain, Camrose and Lougheed Alberta. Under Brian's leadership, Agriterra grew to nine Alberta locations by 2020. The additional locations include High River, Eckville, Grande Prairie, Vegreville, Waskatenau and Lloydminster. The primary brands that Agriterra carries are Fendt, Massey Ferguson, Bourgault, Morris, Versatile, Claas, along with various short-line equipment brands. In 2017, Brian also welcomed Finning Canada as minority shareholder. The Agriterra team has grown to over 140 experienced and capable employees, who provide excellent service and support for their customers.
Brian began his career as a Service Technician with a Case construction equipment dealership, subsequently working his way up as a Lead Hand, Service Manager and several years on the manufacturing side of the industry as Region Manager in Western Canada for Champion Road Machinery, later acquired by Volvo. The next transition in Brian's career was to take on the role of General Manager for Hammer Equipment, an Alberta based Case construction equipment dealer. In 2007 Hammer merged with the CaseIH farm equipment dealer in Southern Alberta and went public as Rocky Mountain Equipment. This new company started with twelve locations, eventually growing to 38. Brian started as the COO with Rocky Mountain Equipment, later moving into the CEO role.

Brian was born and raised in the Edmonton area and continues to make Alberta home, along with his family. Brian has remained committed throughout his career in creating and growing businesses that are focused on delivering excellent value and service to customers. Currently, Agriterra is celebrating its 10th anniversary in business and looking forward to continued growth and expansion to deliver more products and services to the farm and ranch communities in Western Canada.
