Yesterday, Martin Richenhagen made an appearance on CNBC, Mad Money show with Jim Cramer, to announce the coming introduction of an exciting new line of tractors to the North American farmer, the Challenger 1000 Series.
The Challenger 1000 Series is much more than a new tractor, as it represents a new category of tractors, combining the versatility of a row-crop tractor and the power of four-wheel drive tractor in one machine. Designed and manufactured at AGCO’s state-of-the-art Marktoberdorf, Germany production facility, the Challenger 1000 Series was designed to deliver lower cost of ownership per acre, advanced connectivity and world-class performance. Available in four powerful models ranging from 396 to 517 engine horsepower, the Challenger 1000 Series will be officially launched at the Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa, Aug. 30-Sept.1.
With this machine, we’ll also see the introduction of our new ACCU Platform – which delivers smarter, more intuitive features that you will start to see incorporate into our Challenger machines moving forward. The ACCU Platform is just the beginning of helping Agribusiness operations see that Challenger machines can help improve the way they do business, become more profitable and ultimately help them meet the needs of an expanding global population.
